A Vision for our Library
Our information centre will be central to our school, supporting and encouraging the learning that is happening within our classrooms.
It will be a library and information centre where children are able to access, process and apply information from multimedia resources.
It will provide an environment in which children gain skills and attitudes for life long learning, encouraging them to become independent facilitators of knowledge.
It will symbolise the value we put on information, and its importance to the children's learning.
It will be a place of quiet retreat for all children, motivating them to read for leisure and pleasure, building their literacy.
